Starting April 12-14, INDOT will close roads between Elston Road and Norfolk Southern Railroad Bridge to install a waterpipe. The project will extend from 30th Street to Old Romney Road and is expected to be completed in September 2023. Jeromy Grenard, Lafayette’s city engineer, informed the city council that the Indiana Department of Transportation would start construction on a three-mile project to revamp Teal Road on Monday. Detours and revamps of Lafayette streets spanning the next couple of years were addressed at this week's city council meeting.
